Van Gogh to open SOFA showroom

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario (09 September 2010) - Contemporary upholstery specialist Van Gogh Designs will open a showroom in the SOFA section of the International Centre here later this month.

The privately-held producer will open a 2,100 square foot showroom in Suite 211 on 29 September.

Based in the Vancouver, Van Gogh Designs is best known as a producer of tag order contemporary fabric upholstery but also produces a collection of occasional tables, head boards and beds as well.

"We are very excited that Van Gogh Designs is opening a showroom here at SOFA," Linda Kafka, director of marketing and tenant relations for SOFA said in a statement. "The SOFA showrooms showcase a wide variety of furniture and accessories, and Van Gogh Designs will make a great addition with their collection of unique and quality made furniture."

SOFA - an acronym for Source of Furniture and Accessories - is the permanent showroom section of the International Centre, which hosts the Canadian Home Furnishing Market each January.

SOFA will also launch its new Design Lab on 29 September - a series of trade-only seminar targeting the Canadian design and decorator sector.
